Yahoo Maps Mashups
John Musser writing in his programmable web blog references a healthy list of Yahoo Maps Mapshups which he in turn found on the Yahoo Maps developer site.
I appreciate that Yahoo, unlike Microsoft, has stepped up with its own developer site, not let some partner run it...

Developers have known about and used our developer site for years!! it's a little thing we call MSDN

MSDN is a coders starting point for all developer info for Microsoft products. The MapPoint team has maintained a developer center at MSDN since MapPoint 2000 was released in fact. Here you will find SDK's, samples, tutorials and training resources for all of our programmable mapping products including Virtual Earth, Location Server, MapPoint Web Service, and Mappoint 2004.
The ViaVirtualEarth.com site is a community driven website for Virtual Earth developers where anyone can post tips, contribute code samples, etc... That's the whole purpose of 'Community' after all. I know from experience that when i'm coding, i really appreciate a community of other developer's experiences to assist me - rarely are you the first to run into an API problem that someone isn't discussing on a message board somewhere
