What to do with "old" Electronic Gettysburg Map?

The Park Service is ready to get rid of the map which shows in a 30 minute presentation the progress of the battle in flashing lights. The problem is it's tough to get out of the building in which it now rests. The building was built around it! A new visitor center is planned at which point the old map may well be scrap.

For anyone who's not seen it, this map is truly a piece of art -- however outdated it may be. It would be too bad if it ended up in a landfill, but short of moving the entire building, I'm not sure how it could be preserved.
