Update: Watch the GeoTech Center Competition Videos Submitted for Round Two
Now there are 12 videos posted. I guess it took some time to post all of them on the GeoTech website.

Recall that round one was an online exam based on the GTCM. Any one with 70% on the exam was invited to submit a video about a GIS/RS project for a chance to attend the Esri EdUC as a semi-finalist. There the selected students will present their papers to panel of judges for the final round. There are 6 semi-finalist slots. There were seven videos posted on the GeoTech Center Round two webpage by the closing date of round two, May 15. (rules document, pdf)
I want to congratulate the students (and their instructors) who made it this far. Going to school (and often working and raising a family, too!) leaves previous little time to add on other tasks. I'm hopeful everyone who participates in the competition will use the experiences to help distinguish themselves as they pursue employment in geospatial and related fields.
And a special shout out to White Mountains Community College, represented by three presentations. I met the GIS program manager, Peg Heaney, at NEARC's Edu conference last year and her students are active in such compeitions. I am not surprised her students are so well represented!
