USGS pushes up A-76 Solicitation 2 Weeks; Emerson Continues Battle

The Rolla Daily News reports that “USGS announced Monday that it is granting a two-week extension to March 26 to the due date of the work performance statement.” It was supposed to be out this past Monday, March 12. (Full schedule, DOC format) The competition, between Denver, Rolla and private corporations will end with a winner picked in late August to be announced Sept. 12.

The paper also highlights that Missouri Rep. Jo Ann Emerson continues her fight on behalf of her Rolla USGS employees in their quest to win the bid (A-76) for the National Mapping Center.
