UPS Star of Geospatial Revolution on Marketplace

You might remember Jack Levis from the PBS video series The Geospatial Revolution. He's the UPS manager who made the now famous comment about how the company used to be a trucking company that happened to use technology, but is now a technology company that happens to have trucks.

He, his drivers and his big data were profiled on NPR's Marketplace on Monday. The big news: a new algorithm to route the trucks (in 3 secs).
