Update: Wanted: Geo/GIS Pro Who Uses Social Location Apps
I had a great chat with a geospatial professional this week on his use of location-based social media. What I’d like to do is collect a few more such chats (or e-mail interviews) to put together a podcast on this topic. I think the insights of our geosavvy community about this consumer/social technology is valuable to those developing it and those trying to keep it safe for use (aka, the government!).

I’m interesting in speaking to a geospatial professional/GIS user who regularly uses a location sharing app. Readers of APB might be great candidates! My goal: a podcast interview where we discuss how and why you use the app(s) and an exploration of how those apps might connect to day to day use of GIS/geospatial technology for “work.”
