Top Inventions of 2007: One without geo, another few with…

Time notes the top inventions of 2007. On top the iPhone, which we all know, doesn’t have GPS. Also on the list, a long talked about device that police can shoot from their cars into those of chassees. The device includes GPS, so the car can be tracked. I’m not sure how it rates a 2007 nod as it will not be available until next year. In the “remote sensing” department we find HortiBot, a robot weeder that uses a camera to identify weeds by shape and orientation of their leaves. Oh, and Google Street View is there, too.
