The Media Map: Who’s Reading What And Where
Forbes packaged data from Bit.ly (the iink shoretening service) into a map to see what news outlets are most popular in each U.S. state. It's an odd mix of print/online pubs (New York Times, The Onion, Seattle Times), cable networks (CNN, MSNBC) and one radion network (NPR). I fear the patterns has much to do with what is shared online as the popularity of these networks. My gut feeling is online text is shared most, tipping the stats.
