Taking Aim at Orbiting Satellites Using Google Earth and Orbitron

InformationWeek is reporting that two researchers at Old Dominion University have written a paper describing how to use Sebastian Stroff’s Orbitron satellite tracking software and Google Earth to identify and visualize earth orbiting satellites. The paper is entitled "Risk and vulnerability games: The anti-satellite weaponry (ASA)." Ostensibly the report is to determine how one might use this capability to shoot down satetllites. Although the researchers are positioning their report as "an awareness paper," don’t you think if it was titled something with a little less hype and didn’t play on the "fear factor" that it might have been as well received?
