Stalqer: Foursquare running in the background

One of the big issues with location-based apps for the iPhone is that the operating system does not allow background processing. That makes playing Foursquare or other LBS apps and games a bit trying.

Stalqer (“stalker?”) has found a way around that and offers a Foursquare-like app that runs in the background. There’s also a connection to Facebook, such that if your friends make their info public, you can see where they are, even if they aren’t running Stalqer. (I think I have that right…)
