Seven Year Old and Google Earth Get Dad Out of Snowdrift
Matt Lahn, lives in Sartell, MN. He got caught in a snow storm last weekend. He called local authorities who could not reach him as roads were closed. His wife was concerned and after getting information from Lahn, used Google Earth (which their daughter, 7, recently taught her) to pinpoint him. With that she found phone number for local residents and businesses and eventually found someone able to pick up her husband and put him up for the night. The next day, the locals helped Lahn dig out his truck.
