Quote of the Week

“It’s grossly inaccurate. We don’t have as many tourists as we would have if we had an accurate map.”

West Virginia delegate John Doyle, D-Jefferson speaking about an online foliage map he thinks misleads visitors to coming too early or too late to see the trees in peak colors. He maintains the map is causing the state to lose tourist money. He goes on to say, in the The Charleston Daily Mail article that “Our foliage is no different than Vermont’s.”
