Planet Labs Flock on the way to the International Space Station

The “flock” of 28 shoe box sized Dove satelltes was just one small container amidst the 2,780 pounds of cargo on the Antares rocket lauched yesterday from Wallops Island, VA. All the cargo will reach the station on Sunday but the "flock" will remain in storage for the rest of January. The plan is for deployment in February with  high-quality images of the Earth being sent to the company soon after.
