MTV has partnered with iCondom to release the iCondom iPhone app. The location based app will find the nearest location to purchase them; the data is to be mostly crowdsourced and contributors are encouraged to add key information such as if the store/machine is avaialble 24x7.

- Mashable

MASON CITY [IA] - The Mason City Volunteer Program is coordinating a large photography project in which volunteers will take photos of the exterior of various landmarks throughout the community, including, but not limited to, bridges, churches, recreation facilities and businesses.

The word crowdsourcing is not used; this sounds a bit more formal. The data will be added to the GIS and will be used for emergency response, among other things.
