Local.com on the Move
It took the announcement of two patents and some exploration into the implications of those patents, but Local.com’s stock was up about $5 in five days. The patents, one for extracting location intormation from Web pages and index it for search and second for tying search to voice enabled 411, could mean an acquistion or serious patent licensing fees to the company.
