Keeping Up with GLONASS

India will step in and help get Russian satellites in orbit, per agreements to be signed soon. The Russian global navigation satellite system (GNSS) Glonass is on course to cover all Russia’s territory by the end of the year, and the world by 2009, per Russia’s defense minister, Sergei Ivanov, who also serves as a deputy prime minister. He made the statement in India, I suspect at the World Map Forum.
