InformationWeek concludes that integrating online services with GPS is still quite limited. It’s hard, expensive and the hardware is not yet widely available. Also, carriers policies and certification are obstacles. Among those commenting: Kreitler, director of Yahoo Maps, Alex Daley, lead marketing manager for Microsoft’s Virtual Earth business unit and John Chang, who heads up John L. Scott’s (a real estate company) Internet business efforts.
