Sunnyvale, California-based start-up Micello has announced the availability of its Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) that provide web and mobile developers the ability to include indoor maps in their own applications.

Google has updated the Google Maps Terms of Service. One addition is "more stuff": developers can use the Static Maps API on platforms other than browsers. Most additions are "less stuff for you, more money for Google": opt out of future ads is no longer available for new apps (old ones grandfather) and there are updated usage limits, so heavier users need to pay.
