Giant Atlas Maker Seeks Buyer
Millennium House published its Earth Platinum atlas a few years ago at $100,000. It's taller than a person (6' 9") and while there was much interest (and lots of images on the Web), there were few buyers. Of the 31 atlases published just sevn have sold. So, the owners are looking for a buyer: management sent an information memorandum containing its financial data to interested parties in Europe and the U.S. in February. It's a tough time for print in general and huge print in particular.
