craigslist/Google App Draws Them In

I mentioned the hack linking craigslist apartment listing and houses for sale data and Google maps when it launched. Now, three weeks later the New York Times reports (may require registration) that HousingMaps.com received 200,000 hits since then. Ok, but GIS people did this years ago - I recall ESRI touting its relationship with realtor.com. I visited that website - see if you can find the “map it” button. (Hint: it says “map these properties”) Have Google and craigslit (and a hacker) snaked the masters?
