Booyah Gets $20 million
Booyah is behind the location-based mobile gaming app MyTown. The funds come from Accel Partners and including previous investors Kleiner Perkins and DAG Ventures. The company hopes to go “beyond” the check-in as it competes with Foursquare adn Gowalla, but no one seems to know what that means.
Booyah is based in Palo Alto, Calif.-based and has 24 employees.
