BlockChalk Gets Funding
BlockChalk is an anonymous location-based social network. Anyone can leave anonymous messages attached to a location (but not share their location). The idea is to get around the privacy issues that limit other similar efforts. For a time BC was a startup, but today comes word there’s some money in the pot from “Battery Ventures, Mitch Kapor, Harrison Metal, Founder Collective, Joshua Schachter, Josh Stylman, Tom McInerney, and David Liu.”
