BART iPod Map/Schedule Program Wins Award
Despite copyright infringement challenges on the iPod name and mapping data (1, 2) back in the day when hackers did it, now iPod map app are winning awards. San Francisco’s BART (East Bay Business Times) won an award for its iPod friendly downloads which include color maps and schedules. The QuickPlanner for Apple iPod program “won a top prize from the American Public Transportation Association, a Washington, D.C.-based industry trade association, for excellence in communications, advertising and marketing.”
