Atlantic Cape Community College is offering a Geospatial Technician Certification this fall. It's refered to as a "new training program in one a fast-growing career fields." It meets 6 to 9 p.m., Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning Oct. 7 through May. Fee: $2600, but worth 25 college credits.
This course, which follows the STARS curriculum series, is designed to both teach and assess a student’s level of competence in the geospatial skill set required by the geospatial industry to become employed in the field. This program is eligible for 25 college credits on successful completion.
India's Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has a syllabus for geospatial that educators might find interesting. Why it's a raster image, I can't explain. I guess they do not believe in Open Educational Resources?
