Data Wars in Newsweek

And, there is a twist: the article does note that Tele Atlas does the same thing, just with a smaller fleet. And, it also notes that the two companies are Уthe only gameФ in town. One interesting quote from author Brad Stone, УUnlike a phone directory, book or photo, there's no way to scan the contents of the sprawling, dynamic world directly into a computer.Ф I thought that was the job of satellites...
