Find the Moving Access Point
Sort of a combination of wardriving and geocaching, a student networking society in Ireland ran a Уfind the moving wireless access pointФ game over the weekend. Teams of two or individuals had three attempts, each an hour long, to locate a hidden, moving wireless access point. They could use a laptop/PDA and wireless network detection software. The three trials were held in a bar, a park and in a shopping center. Have a look Ц perhaps this is the next УgameФ weТll all be playing at GIS conferences.
