A Collection of Maps on the Mumbai Bombings
These are just a sampling of maps related to the coverage of last week's attacks:
Mapmash offers a timeline map. Reference is to Wikipedia. (Thanks for including source information!)
- via Google Map Mania
Mibazaar has produced a Google Map of geo-tagged YouTube videos of the Mumbai terror attacks. (Warning: first one starts up on its own, so be prepared!)
- via Google Maps Mania (which notes a few more)
You can also key in "attacks" near Mumbai (here a link to my search) and find quite a lot of user generated content.
A similar search at Maps.Live.Com yields one small collection from "MSN News presents a map of the locations targeted in the coordinated raid."
The New York Times offers its usual clear, clean self-produced map.
Fox News Atlanta offers a Google Map mashup. (A FOX map used early one drew criticism for being blatantly wrong.)
The BBC had a MICROSOFT-based static map and followed up with another interactive map of videos (also credited to Microsoft).
Al Jazeera goes with Google.
And, finally here's an AP map.
