"1Spatial, a Cambridge based leader in spatial data management, has posted more than 40 per cent revenues growth in the half-year to December, with expansion into Europe and government initiatives driving the upsurge.

Revenues for the six months rose to £4.1m (H1 06: £2.8m). It was the company's ninth consecutive half-year of profit, 1Spatial won its largest contract to date to supply software for the Ordnance Survey's Geospatial Data Management System.

Other new customers signed up included Thames Water, Wirral MBC, the Countryside Commission for Wales in the UK and PSMA Australia Ltd."
