A reader points out that ADC Map company, maker of print atlases widely used in the mid-atlantic, is changing its map grid system. The reader notes the shift not only re-labels grid squares but also shifts them 2000 ft.
ADC Map speaks to the
change on a webpage. It offers new
indeces for download and an
online converter for single grid squares.
The real issue is that organizations that use the atlases, especially for public safety, need to plan for the changes. So too, I suspect will reators and other heavy users.
