The award is the Business Analyst of the Year and it's presented by the British Computer Society (BCS) as part of its IT Industry Awards.
The winnter, Mark Belliss, is a business analyst with BT Global Services who won for "his role on a complex business transformation programme in relation to the planning and recording of changes to telecommunications networks."
He helped implement new IT systems and business processes and updatedata from legacy sources and systems. He's a 14 year veteran of IT and GIS and is a member of BT’s GIS focus group and is secretary of the Association for Geographic Information (AGI) Utilities and Telecommunications Special Interest Group.
