Britain's Drivers Can't Read Maps
Research commissioned by insurer Esure found that 63 per cent of motorists - equivalent to 21million - would be lost without a satnav system.
The article suggests the wide use of satnav devices is to blame. Some fun: see if you can identify OS symbols in the quiz in the article from the Daily Mail. (I did ok, but I spent a good deal of time in London/Stevenage when I worked at Cadcorp.)
Why did an insurance company foot the bill for the research? What do they have to gain here?
