Refuting Local.com's Local Search Patent

Who's doing the refuting? Marty Himmelstein, once of Vicinity (remember them? MapBlast anyone?), co-author of a patent (which he claims is prior art) on the matter now owned by Microsoft. He's got extensive analysis at Seeking Alpha which mentions everyone from Dan Egnor (who won that Google contest in 2002 with a geo project) to MetaCarta.
