Webraska and Yahoo!

Yahoo

As we move further from the original announcement that Yahoo! built its own mapping back-end, more details pop up.

First, some history:

Yahoo! goes in-house (All Points Blog)
Yahoo! and DeCarta Share their take on the change (Directions Magazine)
Yahoo engages Cartifact for cartography (All Points Blog)

Now, Webraska notes in a PR, its tech is in the mix. It "provided Yahoo! Maps with key components of the Webraska SmartZone Geospatial Platform (SGP4)."
