From Atana's wife Mayia:
Dear Friend,
I just created a petition entitled Tell ICE: Stop the deportation of Atanas Entchev and family , because I deeply believe we should be allowed to stay in U.S. which is our home.
I'm trying to collect 1000 signatures, and I could really use your help.
To read more about what I'm trying to do and to sign my petition, click here:

It'll just take a minute!
Please ask your friends to sign the petition as well. Grassroots movements succeed because people like you are willing to spread the word!
Thank you very much in advance, you help is greatly appreciated by our family.
Mayia Entcheva
Thanks from her and from the rest of our community who misses him!

The new public GIS site for Columbia, MO will go live on GIS Day.
The Geospatial Information Systems Office will celebrate the day with an open house, "GIS Day: The Adventure In Our Community," featuring computer mapping work that is being done at various agencies in Columbia and Boone County.
That theme is not the one for GIS Day, but the one for Geography Awareness Week. Cool.

The Wyoming Office of State Lands is using crowdsourcing to update its state land map, once it's publicly avaialble.
The Office of State Lands and Investments plans to roll out the new website within the next couple days and is seeking help from the public. State lands officials are encouraging people to report any inaccuracies they discover on the maps.
While they're at it, people should report any illegal junkyards or vehicle damage they discover on state land, Ryan Lance, director of the Office of State Lands and Investments, said Wednesday at an interagency meeting about the website.
"It never hurts to have a couple thousand more people out there," Lance said.
The website is http://www.onanypc.com/StateLandAccess .
