As ReadWriteWeb correctly notes, the new button offered by Foursquare to websites allows Foursquare users to basically click and get notification when they check in “near” the topic of site. And, there’s a new iPhone app. (Would write more, but I’m traveling and RWW did a good job on this; happy to send you there.)

Defense contractor BAE Systems has received an approximately $6.1 million contract to analyze geonames (online database) and human terrain of Yemen and Somalia. It was the only company to bid; work will be done in NJ and VA is expected to be completed in Sept 2011.

A great segment on the APM show about a young lady that shared her location on Foursquare only to be called at check-in location, a restaurant, by an unknown male caller who describer her to a “T” to the waitstaffer that answered the phone. Creepy? Indeed.
