Off Topic: Adena Smokes Women's Field at ESRI 5K (#ESRIUC)
Directions Magazine's own Adena Schutzberg took first place in the ESRI 5K in 22:05 outpacing the rest of the field on a party cloudy morning here in San Diego. Leading wire to wire, Adena was among about 300 runners. Congrats on winning and posting a 5K PR!

The Role of GIS in Enhancing Education/GeoCareers #ESRIUC #ERSIEDUC
A combined ESRI UC and ESRI EDUC panel session was officially titled The Role of GIS in Enhancing Education. It got redefined a bit to examine geocareers. No matter the panel had plenty to say, as did the audience, a mix of educators and industry GIS users. ESRI’s Governor Jim Geringer moderated.
