OpenStreetMap Mapping Party in Somerville, MA
This past weekend I alas had to "pass" on the mapping party, but the alternative local paper, the Somerville News, was on the scene. Turn out, per one who attended was not huge, numbering a dozen or so on Saturday. Still, they did their work. My correspondent mapped Danehy Park, in neighboring Cambridge. The one challenge for those who brought back data to upload? Wireless Internet at the hosting cafe was down, but the group worked around it.
