The AWS (Amazon Web Services)
Start-Up Challenge is that company's contest to find "the next hot start-up that is leveraging AWS to build its infrastructure and business." The winner takes home $50,000 in cash, $50,000 in AWS credits, and receive an investment offer from Amazon.
Of the 900 entries, one geospatial startup made the seven company final:
WeoGeo. The other finalists offer video services, measuring brain networks, car insurance by the mile and website usability testing among other things.
The WeoGeo crew will head to Amazon HQ in December to present to the judges, pitch to VCs and hopefully come home winners. Congrats for getting this far and good luck in the final.
