While here in the U.S. geo-types are at GEOINT or CTIA, Nokia is doing its thing in Finland. At its event, The Way We Live Next, the company is showing off its newly acquired Point and Find system. The technology, acquired from PIXTO earlier this year, allows a phone user to point at something - cinema, restaurant, person perhaps and get information about them. How? Well the phone has a camera, GPS and Internet access for starters.
I guess this is another reason they need to buy NAVTEQ.
