The Arkansas Times covers it and notes among other things that No Child Let Behind does not provide funding for social studies because it's not tested. The AAG is looking at that topic. See the blue box on the main page.

Google, NASA and Stanford are helping map the human body and the work may one day mean a Google Earth-like tool for exploration and education. This is not all that suprising; back at ESRI one of our partners used ArcView to "map" the body. And, people put the Moon and caves into ArcView as well. So, if we think of all the ways ArcView was applied can we think about where Google might go?
