Ok, after all that speculation India-based Rolta has acquired Canadian firm Orion, which offers Web/enterprise solutions built on technology from many “map providers” including: ArcIMS, ArcSDE, ArcGIS Server, OGC(WMS, WFS), Microsoft MapPoint, Microsoft Virtual Earth, Pictometry. The company will be a fully-owned subsidiary, but will retain its name and location.
