Yesterday, October 6, 2005 - MobileMag reported that Sun-chan University in Korea had developed an organic RFID chip. The key point of the article was that the chip could be produced for .5 cents each, dramatically reducing the cost for RFID chips. This chip was produced using 100% organic compounds which makes it almost Science Fiction come true. Being organic, it may not have the disposal problems with traditional chips. With a cost of .5 cents per chip, this could have a major impact on the expansion of the use of RFID.

It’s round two of the DARPA Challenge. This year autonomous vehicles had to qualify to make the finals to be held on Sunday in Primm, in the Nevada desert. The course map will be released just two hours before the gun and according to a report on MarketPlace was augmented to mimic hazard seen by troops in Iraq.
