Geoportail Tech: IONIC

I happened on the IONIC website looking for something else and found a screen shot of Geoportail, the new French "Google Earth"-like portal. IONIC is providing the underlying technology. Perhaps because of the portal's early challenges, it's better the company name was not immediately associated with the site?

Says the IONIC site: "The key innovative part of this portal will be the GeoCatalogue (http://www.geocatalogue.fr) allowing discovery of information and based on OGC/ISO catalog."
